And will only supercharged cars go to tear down if there is a tear down?

"kind of tech"...I've attended a few national events this year. From my perspective, the new tech is equivalent if not better than the old tech. From someone who was skeptical when the change was announced, I'm happy with the new process! Everything that was checked before is still checked now!

Believe it or not, there was a tech official carrying a helmet that they confiscated in the staging lanes at Bristol!

Indy is a 128 car field. The fastest 128. Winning Class has no affect on qualifying position. Remember it is the quickest 128. So someone could run a bogus part and get in.

If you are running Indy, pretty sure you have all the visual and safety stuff already covered, it is not your first rodeo. Everybody pretty much knows how fast their class competitors are. If there is a bogus feeling about someone, it will be brought to NHRA's attention. But it is quite possible to be bogus, and qualify.

You know what would be fun? Have Wesley and other old timers do the random inspections.

U/SA I can qualify for Indy (220 car field)
