If that is the full schedule it does nothing for 2/3 of the country. This has always been the issue with IHRA it really isn't a national series. With the way NHRA is going maybe the IHRA can grow to the west.

So if my calendar is correct, Dragway 42 is a wed. to fri race? Lol

Nice Championship purse, wonder how the contingencies will look.

Maybe if this new format can get some traction in 2017, a few more tracks may jump in or jump back in the following year.

Dragway 42 could go a long way into getting some of the Ohio folks back into the IHRA mix.

Yea it would def be nice to get some tracks in the KY, TN, IN and OH on the band wagon for mine and a lot of others sake lol plus their are tons of good tracks in those regions

Anybody else notice there are no Canadian races scheduled for 2017? There were a ton of Canadian racers at the World Finals in Memphis this year. Weird. Jim

I noticed that also, Jim. I wonder if the "NitroJam" (or whatever the new professional series will be called) will still have Canadian events this year? It would be a shame if those folks who supported IHRA all this time were forgotten!

2017 MOPAR CANADIAN NATIONALS – *We have not sent out the Save A Seat Forms as we are making some adjustments and awaiting some confirmations re the event. Once Finalized all the information will be posted on the website and the forms will be going out the first part of 2017.*

Castrol Raceway in Edmonton has switched to NHRA therfore all of Division 6 IHRA races no longer exist.
