Hi kids -Well this wasn't what I wanted to wake up to - dark skies and more than a little pitter-patter on my roof .It's coming down in buckets and our early start this AM is doubtful - but you never know.

And just like that it stopped - this is going to be one weird day ........later .

Lets talk about who worked hard so far this weekend - first we have Jim Boudreau who's '69 Camaro is legendary but had it's problems yesterday so in the morning he changed a trans and converter and in the afternoon did a big block engine swap .No one has told him about being a senior citizen and taking it easy ....

And then we have Mr.Barton who people think he shows' up and they hand him the trophy ........They worked until 2AM this morning and are ready ......One look at they're trailer and pit and you could tell it was a thrash but are now waiting for the last qualifier to be called to the lanes .Hard work is what it's called my friends - nobody said it was easy ! ! ! Along with him this weekend is Todd Hoven who tested the Drag Pak Thursday and turned around - went home and loaded up His Firebird and was back yesterday in time to tech in and make his passes - just plain dedication .That and he worked along side David last night till they were finished .

UPDATE - So this morning after their final qualifying pass David and Co. decided the converter swap wasn't correct and swapped it back still using the trans they put in last night - still think its' easy ????
