Re: Ray Valpreda Passing
We are very sad to hear this news. Ray and Ruth parked next to us when we won the Atlanta divisional a few years ago. They stayed until the very end to cheer us on and for the winner's circle picture. Our hearts go out to Ruth.

Re: Ray Valpreda Passing
Our condolences go out to Ruth and the rest of the Valpreda family. I met Ray back when he was driving The Class of 65 U/SA Dodge wagon. A Classy guy and a Classy racer. Stock Eliminator has another angel looking over the rest of us. RIP my friend.

What a loss .The world and the racing community lost a great man Saturday who will be missed by many .He left behind his children , grandchildren and his loving wife - Ruth .
For me - Ray and I were friends since the early seventies and for a time were even race car partners .And I valued his friendship every day - he was just that kind of guy .And a good racer also as he was the 1979 Division One Stock Champion .RIP Ray .......... |
