I have watched the movie many times and with the cable service, they have it On Demand all the time. I was in High School the first time I watched it. Went to the theater with my uncle that I blame for getting hooked to drag racing. That day they had a double feature of Two Lane Blacktop and Corky with Robert Blake; I believe I paid $0.50 for the ticket as a student. The movie had a bizarre opening of a street race between Robert Blake in a Barracuda and a 1969 Camaro. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxqG8h-Q88c"]"CORKY" with Robert Blake - YouTube[/ame] |
Re: Two Lane Blacktop The movie
The driver of the Camaro looks vaguely familiar. Might he be the Charger driver in Bullet?

I've never heard or seen this Corky movie. Wild Barracuda! Typical street race with the wife in her curlers :D |

Bill wore his hair a little longer in the "Seven Ups",,,, really liked that movie. One he$$ of a crash scene when Roy Scheider goes topless in that Ventura!
