They will be racing HEADS UP,but a good driver will take the stripe as little as possible to not show his hand. |

Re: Kaboom!
Combine a SS/AH HEMI Shootout with one of these shows and the stands will be full.
Can this be the beginning of the salvation for SS/STK? |
Re: Kaboom!
I'm assuming no races west of Denver?

Re: Kaboom!

Re: Kaboom!
Thought I would look up the best 1/8mile incrementals for the different supercar combos from the 2011 US Nationals:
Drew Skillman AA/sa 2010 331 SC CJ 6.050@ 116.59 3695 lbs min wt Bo Butner AA/sa 2010 331 SC CJ 6.037 @ 114.60 3695 lbs min wt Evan Smith AA/sa 2008 331 SC CJ 6.019 @ 113.52 3550 lbs min wt Don Fezell AA/s 2008 331 SC CJ 6.053 @ 116.98 3730 lbs min wt Andy Durham AA/sa 2011 512 v10 Drag Pak 6.107 @ 112.44 3590 lbs min wt Teutons' AA/sa 2011 512 v10 Drag Pak 6.102 @ 114.34 3590 lbs min wt Keith Lynch A/sa 2010 345 Drag Pak 6.189 @ 108.38 3375 lbs min wt David Barton A/sa 2009 370 Drag Pak 6.112 @ 110.42 3400 lbs min wt Kevin Helms A/s 2010 370 Drag Pak 6.300 @ 110.24 3250 lbs min wt Gary Richards' B/sa 2010 428 CJ 6.285 @ 108.26 3465 lbs min wt Irvin Johns B/sa 2010 392 Drag Pak 6.342 @ 107.13 3560 lbs min wt Any info about what the min weights were at the time of runs would be good to know! * I have figured out the Min wts. Not positive they are correct.* |
Re: Kaboom!
What the hell figured I would correct the 1/8 mile ET's from the above list using their min wt at the 2011 US nats to the new Supercar weights:
1) Fezell 2008 331 SC CJ - 6.001- stick 2) Butner 2010 331 SC CJ - 6.008 3) Teutons' 2011 v10 DP - 6.011 4) Durham 2011 v10 DP - 6.016 5) Barton 2010 370 DP - 6.014 6) Skillman 2010 331 Sc CJ- 6.021 7) Smith 2008 SC CJ- 6.084 8) Lynch 2010 345 DP- 6.108 9) Johns 2010 392 DP- 6.141 10) Richards 2010 428 CJ - 6.145 11) Helms 2010 370 DP - 6.300- stick |
Re: Kaboom!
With the purposed weight breaks Jeff posted looks pretty fair on the surface but !! As every one knows the car that David Barton drove at Indy was at least 2 tenths faster then he showed. That would put the mopar in the 5.90 range . Ford needs some help . The 428 and 352 could not get close to the mopars and the SC mustangs would need help as well .
Jeff how about 3550 for the SC mustang and 3100 for the 428 and 3000 for the 352 just to make it fair |
Re: Kaboom!
I just saw a 428 Mustang go 9.57 @ B weight in fall testing, don't think the Mustangs need any help.
