Tom,
Check with Hemmy Adkins or Garrett Ghezzi (SS/MA from Joliet, IL) for NHRA piston.
Dwight Southerland played around with one on a dyno also.

dwight and i have been in contact since the get-go...
that's why i asked about 290 pistons, afaik, i'm gonna be the one that's going to get 'em started...NOBODY to my knowledge is making an "NHRA accepted" piston...
btw, they will be 4bbl pistons....
don't think there'll be much demand for 2bbl one's...

btw, if anybody seriously wants to get the ball rolling before i get to it, contact me...

1968 Chevelle, 327 250/245 engine, Powerglide in Stock, 3 speed OK in Super Stock.Runs J,K&L in Stock, SS/KA and SS/LA in Super Stock. 10.5" tire in SS, un tubbed with right offset wheel. It's not a second under car, but far ehough under to be fun,and they are consistant.

Allen,
Use 8" wide Bogarts w/4" backspacing and minor wheelwell "managulating" in the front and rear (which is legal) along with some "massaging" of the inner area of the whellwell, will allow you to use a 10.5 X 29.5 M/T slick.
