Beautiful car .
But I am partial to red Corvettes!
Accent stripe is just enough to set the car apart ,definately a Best Appearing candidate.
Been a long time since I can remember anyone running a 6cyl in a early Vette.

Very nice. But then every thing Doug has had was very nice. I used to really enjoy when he would come up and test. I loved the roadster he used to run.

That is one beautiful Corvette. Having a NCRS plate on it is especially fitting; considering that the restoration crowd will go into cardiac arrest when they see it!

It's great to see an older body style built for a change instead of all the late model FWD conversion entries. I wish Doug nothing but success with his new ride, and agree that it is very deserving of a "Best Appearing" Wally, hopefully in the near future.

As typical with anything Doug is involved in. It is a work of art and I'm sure it will be fast too. I can't wait to see it live and in person.

Love your Nomad to Randall.....Its even nicer with no decals all over it. I remember it from the US Class Nationals.

Tim, I know its a S/SS forum but maybe u could sneak a photo in of Dougs street car. Don't think anyone would care once they saw the photo, plus it kinda puts the whole racecar thing into perspective!!! Thanks again for the great photos.

Beautiful car,,,I remember when Jimmy ran it up here in the NW. Good luck with the V-6, what an awesome piece. The geometry on that throttle linkage looks wierd,,,hope it works smoothly. Is it too early to think about the "Western Swing"? It'd be great to see it out here again. Take care.

Oh yeah, the seven second street car!! Just a little something Doug has lying around. The superstocker turned out great. Well worth the wait I'd say.
