Rain is going around us right now. I am sure it is coming, but is missing us now

Weather map looks nasty. I'm sure we can still race if there's no issues with standing water, but the Weather Channel is saying rain til 9am Fri, so I think a late start is likely. I'm going to leave as late as possible -- probably just drive 6 hrs tonight and finish the trip in the morning.

Could somebody get word if they are going to continue parking once all the paved spots are full.

Yea, that would be good, save us some extra aggravation, I will not make the trip down there and park the rig in the mud for a weekend.

Yes, you are getting paid JACK! :D

Hope things blow over and clear out. Looking forward to seeing a lot of old faces. Er... I mean, faces that I haven't seen in a long time. You know what I mean! :p

Wow - I'm MIA a little this morning and Sal got his shorts in a bunch - don't spend all of your pay just yet - Anyway I made it thru accidents and big rain and winds - then I got into New Jersey and nothing - nada - zip - zero ...........but its coming for sure as its getting darker by the minute and the winds are picking up.

As most of you already know activities are not going to start today in any form but tech is being done as I type - and as my pics will clearly show they are doing house calls - for everyone - thanks NHRA for that - its nice not to have to drag your stuff out on an ugly day .

Lets talk a little about parking - the asphalt here is full .Why ?? Because they finally got smart and put a nix on saving multiple spots days before the event starts -- thanks Joe Sway and Co. Bad news is the sand lot is ugly and with the bad weather coming in it won't be pretty .

I'm goin' out for a walk and some fresh air ..............more later .
