Re: no paul page?????
Troops:
Anybody who watched the recent NHRA-TV broadcast on ESPN saw much more than a drag race. The co-anchor chair beside Mike Dunn was filled with a knowledgeable, glad-to-be-there articulate guy named Dave Reiff! As a sometimes contributor and reader of what's posted here I have often noted your comments as to the current host's short-comings. Many of you have listened to and watched Dave very well handle NHRA Sportsman drag race broadcasts. But for 5 hours on Monday, he SOARED! How would you like to have a role in keeping Dave Reiff in that chair - where he belongs? It means you're gonna have to physically write a letter as ESPN trashes repetitive emails as spam. Yes, it's a PITA but that's what's required to make this welcome change permanent. Here's the guy and here's his address: Shawn Murphy, VP ESPN Regional Television ESPN Television, ESPN Plaza Bristol, CT 06010 You DO have a chance to make a positive difference in how we experience TV broadcasts of NHRA events. Don't complain if you're not willing to participate. Please do this. We'll all benefit from a much more pleasant Sunday (or whenever you play it back). Thank you. Jon Lundberg BTW ... I have never met nor shook hands with Dave Reiff. He's just that much better. |

Now, he (PP), can go back to being the police chief of Springfield.
You know, Springfield of Homer Simpson fame. |
Re: no paul page?????
I'm just recovering from racing in Indy. I had the ESPN coverage on DVR and was going to delete until I read this post. Since Paully is not on I may sit back and watch. He is such a waste of time to watch.
