A lot of cars were bagging.I would not be surprised if it still took one second under to get in. Some fast cars were purposely staying home for fear of getting horsepower.

Uhhhh...yeah thats so much cheaper for racers to implement.

So much easier to enforce

So much better for the valve spring companies

So much more convinient for the racer, so much easier for everyone to implment in a timley fashion.

**** why dont we start using restrictor plates like circle jerks do.

Sorry accross the board spec rule irk me off, I saw this in motorcycle racing, I also saw it abandoned

Make it so that the pressure can't exceed 150 lbs on the seat. But NHRA doesn't want to work for their membership money which means testing pressures of the valve springs.

the only way this would be fair to everybody is to start from scratch with the HP. This system is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine?

The only people this really will hurt are the guys who could run -.30 or less! They have just relegated about 20% of the cars to being bracket racers! There will be less and less cars at Divisionals and National Events. Some people can't see what is happening. Jim

The only ones who'll be effected are those who are .3 under now, which I doubt is 20%.
I think there are very few combos that aren't able to go .3 under now.If so, then a h.p.
reduction request would be warranted and I would think be granted.
The big $$$$ guys will still have the biggest d$%ks in the arena, just like before.
Now that that's been done how about getting them to let the div. tech guys do their jobs
without outside interference.Maybe some semblance of fairness can be made of the
AHFS.

I may be one of those people who can't run the number. My car has not seen the track for nearly seventeen years and I have no idea where it will be this spring. Should it be the case that I can not run the number within my budget the car will be sold. I will never go bracket racing nor will I put it back on the street.

Re: Index Change

what a coincidence just as these new BS rated combos appear the indexes get whacked .3. Have fun with your previous indy class winner run of 1.19 under, now youre .89 under and one of these new BS combos will womp you in the ligths twice go .99 under and laugh in youre face.
