Hi Bryan,

Yeah I know that your D1 produces some great racers such as Dan Fletcher (a racer bud), and the Biondo's, plus Lee Zane (cool guy, just met him with Mark Faul at the 'Vegas Div.), but I like & consider that a challenge. Thus your comment (above), has me hoping and praying that GOD will bless me with the funds needed to traverse this great country of ours to attempt to call you on that---I'd like to see some of the other div's racers do such as well...Lest I forget that Ricky Decker did that this year, and as a result we're congratulating him on winning Super Stock--and he's from Div 3...few if any D1 guys/gals rained on his parade!!! Granted with Maple Grove being nearly 2k miles away from metro Phoenix, being near the home of "Da Grump...Bill Jenkins" (who's '72 Winternationals winning Pro Stock Vega got me interested in drag racing to begin with), would be great! Next year that race will be held during my birthday, which would make for a great 51st b-day present (should I make it there, and go some rounds)?Furthermore, I've always wanted to race E'town (the original, and should still be home of the "SUMMER NATIONALS"!!!). Gainsville, Fl., Columbus, Oh. (less I forget "INDY"), Baton Rouge, La., and Brainerd, Mn., would give me reasons to also visit Div's 2,3,4, & 5 (east). Then I could race and hang out with you great racers from those areas as well. I'm not forgetting Div. 6 either, because I may find myself living there next year...and some beer from Mt Rainier would be might tasty after a day of racing!!!

I guess my point is that it isn't that we're afraid of your Div's racers (at least I'm not) while chasing points championships, the budget & the time/distance are the most likely deterrents from us going out there---if I get the money I'll make the time, because I'd like to have a chance to run against some of you guy's fwd stockers too! It would be nice to expand my racer bud base nationwide as well, cause we're all one big happy racing family too aren't we??

Congratulations Ricky and family on a well deserved championship.

I hope we played a very small part in your winning season. Remember the Stanton divisional? (although I would like to forget it)
