I would not believe that the production of the 155 round is classified. If anyone started talking about "War Reserve" supplies then that is a whole different circus. Example, war planners have already estimated the number of rounds to fight in a specific theater. That would be marked at least "confidential" or "limited official use". The 155 round is NATO standard munition, a dozen countries can supply these projectiles. Therefore, transfers to Ukraine are unlikely to be constrained when the global market is considered.

I've been around plenty of 105s and 155s. The 155s "bring smoke". Put yourself In a different time and place and the President notified the whole world, Enemies included. That we are short on 155s or any weapon of war. He is a stupid SOB. He and Hanoi Jane belong in the same gallows. My late mother died from complications of alhzhiemers. She had more sense on her last days that this complete idiot... the President of the United States of America...passing out critical information for war. I too have been around artillery, the 8” and 155 were platforms for delivering my weapon system. In further research, found the the reason for shortage is the conventional artillery are being replaced by the HIMARS, with a range of 45 miles which is twice the distance of a 155 round at 14.5. The furthest I have ever fired a round is with a rocket assist 8” round with a number 9 super charge…19.5 miles and was during the testing phase of the XM754 that lead to the develop of the W79.

NOTHING you stated makes it OK to tell the whole world that we are short 155s. Neither a buck private nor President should share this formation. I has to be confidential. Biden as leader of the strongest military in the world is a joke and the world is laughing at us. His drug addict, kicked out of the military son probably Making the decisions. This really strikes a nerve with me....Drafted, I turned down OCS when I found out it was another 2 year commitment. Even though threatened, I turned down OCS with a GT score of 139. (115 was OCS requirement). Stuck into infantry (to teach me a lesson)...made Sgt E5 with 13 months. Saw too many good men die only to see our country being led by weak minded, week spine morons like Biden.

Hey Sarg, take your pack off. You know why we didn’t invade Europe until 1944, because didn’t have the Ammo to support an invasion of that scope. It took the private industry 3 years to change production lines to meet the need. It will take time to ramp up production. In the interim the rest of the NATO will pick the slack. I explained “War Reserve” to you in detail. We have no shortage of ammo for our use if a conflict breaks out. Be pissed at Biden, you earned it. I am pissed at the ****bird from Alabama holding up 650 promotions and leaving the Marine Corps without a Commandant. These military men/women earned there promotions and one man has to play politics.

That *****bird your referring to is Tommy Tuberville, who happened to be my college football coach and one of the greatest and most upstanding man I've ever met. He has his reasons on what he's doing and it's not all political. He's trying to cleanup a mess.
