Re: Rare cars still being raced

My 80 Aspen is the old Paul Rossi pe MultiNational Record Holder and #1 Qualifer and raced for several years by him.

Before that it was Hot Rod Magazine "Project Bracket Bird" 1976 to 1979
before converted to 1980 to Race Grace Cup for current year Stock and
Pro Stock Series.

Then Raced for a number of years by Jon Jr. in Superstock.

Current raced regularly by me for a few years.

Still Paint and lettering under my boy's Wrap Job just like Paul
raced it 40 years ago.

Never registered or driven on the street. Only raced in Stock and
Superstock since 1980. Never Cut up or tubbed.

Paul signed the Deck lid and authenticated it at the Winternationals
this year and coached me to a Semifinals finish

Does it still have the exhuast and mufflers?

Yes it does, when I pull up to the scales, I run the car through the mufflers so that I give them a break from loud race cars and also we don't have to yell at each other. The car is registered and insured so that it is totally street legal with the radio, heater, horn and windshield wipers work as manufactured.
If you look up on Youtube "attention in the pits" episode 32, I'm interviewed with my Camaro.
