Good morning folks... weather conditions are about the same as yesterday morning, class should be interesting. Note... there are 9 E/SA cars, that will be the class to watch... and there are 5 A/S cars... good times.

Dan Fletcher is running Super Comp for this weeks race, and Super Gas and Super Comp for the Nationals... Timothy is running Stock and Super Street for this weeks race and Stock for the Nationals.

I'm certainly not trying to be overly critical and I guess it's just my anal nature, but does it bother anyone else that the "Low ET" listed at the top of the qualifying sheets for Stock and Super Stock is almost never the actual "Low ET"? lol

Pardon my ignorance, as I have not followed the LODRS in years; however, I have questions regarding the run order for stock and super stock. I see rounds labeled "Q," "C," and "R." Based on my limited experience with drag racing from years past, I understand "Q" to stand for qualifying, and "R" to stand for round; however, these "C" runs have me confused. Does anyone care to explain this format to an old racer getting ready to dip his toes back into racing? Thanks in advance!

Yeah, that is just the computer program. It automatically pulls the quickest ET and fastest MPH. Not something NHRA does.

Good morning all, Super Street has been called to the lanes. The weather for today... Sunny and warm, going up to the mid 80's. Stock will follow Super Street, we all get one round today.

Is this class race different from eliminations? I'm new to this format. When I used to watch class racing, there were just usually 2 qualifying runs and eliminations.

First of many from Thursday qualifying. Have a series of about 5 or more frames of most of these. If your car is shown, and you would like to get the series of shots of just the one shown, email butch2246@aol.com with your NHRA number, car type and color. class might help also and I will send the jpegs to your email. If i didn't feature your car and would like to see if I have some of your car, you can email me also. Hope you enjoy the first 9. I was there all day Thursday and Friday till about 2:00.

The Baby Gators are the Real Deal!
It used to be Pomona, Gainesville, Englishtown and Indy for Class Racing. If you won class at all four it was the Grand Slam. If you add the Sportsnationals at Bowling Green it was OMG! Has anyone done it?

We have been done for a few hours. Early today I though it might be cool to stick my 360 camera on my pit bike and ride around the pits and staging lanes. We don't get to see what's going on behind the scenes much, so I hope you all like it.

Just a tip that the NHRA YouTube channel is also posting the Baby Gators. Here’s yesterday’s coverage and they look to be posting today as well starting at 9:00. Much easier to rewind/advance in YouTube as opposed to NHRATV.

Face it, since Summit pulled much of their sponsorship and Larry Sullivan passed DRC has been kind of hit and miss. But still appreciate Summit and DRC doing what they do!
