Yeah,, I'm aware they're not racing currently, but I wanted them included on the list, as there are a lot of repeat names on there already.

Well several people have pee peed on any idea of a stick shift race so forget about it. I tried hard to get all I could at the class nationals and I even had people bitching about who got what and so on Total bull s..t so I'm done doing jack s..t

At least we got a nice list of who is out there running a clutch....

Re: Stick shift drivers by division

Put me on stick list, Ed I know it's farther than you want to go check out UMTR they have stick shift nationals at Edgewater in Cleves (Cincinnati).
What about Ozark Mountain Super shifters a little closer to you.

I have already told Michael a couple of times how much I appreciated him trying to give us a good race, I went both years and had good time and thought Michael,Anthony and crew did a great job both times and will go again if someone else tries,I love to race don't get to that much, but when I do and there is a race that has 3 races in one weekend and 10K+ up for grabs or can spend the whole weekend to run for 1k or 2K somewhere else it isn't hard for me to figure out where to go.

It's actually a 62 BelAir sport coupe... but hey... you remembered me !
that's honor enough !

Ed,
The 348 / 409 group have put on an event a few times, in Kansas. That's more or less central ?
Heck, even if I KNOW I'm going out first round... I'd BE THERE !
MAN, would it be something to see ( and hear )

Those groups / clubs...........whatever , above..........are just bracket cars with a clutch.
Big difference between those and class cars. IMO ,if I had to choose between OMSS , UMTR and class cars ( read that Super Stock ) .........:)
BTW , the true measure of a "clutch racer" , the one who uses a clutch at the gear change.

You don't need a clutchless trans to shift clutchless, you need the right clutch.

Ed,
Thanks for being a supporter of putting this list together. Sorry if things went sour.

Believe it Joe!!
Years ago my brother started shifting his Jerico without the clutch, and just that is worth .07-.08 in the 1/8 and a true clutchless is a little faster yet.

Re: Stick shift drivers by division

Shifting the clutch assisted trans without the clutch made a significant ET improvement for me over clutching it. In my case, this is a GF5R. On the other hand, upgrading the trans to full clutchless made zero ET improvement. Go figure...
