Well we made it thru the 1st round! We run in the morning after Super Street who starts at 9. All sportsmen run 2 rounds in the morning, then done for the day. Glad to see Chad Loge finally make a good run. He broke out by .04, but I think that was a pretty good guess to have been his first good run. It turned out to be problems with his carbs. Nothing really too crazy happening on that round.

Well we just got back from the Jegs Banquet. Thanks to Donna and Merrill for inviting us. They introduced all of last year's winners first, then all the teams from each division. Leo Taugher did a great job of emceeing the event. Everyone is really pumped to have their division win. Something that I heard tonight that I didn't know is if you win the Jegs and the National event both, the money is doubled by Jegs. Jegs is really a great sponser and supporter of sportsmen racing and hopefully all of us are supporting them also.

Glad everyone is having a good time. I'm not sure how computer savvy Don Garlits is, but it'd be cool to let him know about Classracer.com. Maybe once in a while Big Daddy would pipe in on here,,wouldn't that be fun. Just thinking out loud,,, someone should show him how to log on. My 2 cents.

Well Larry decided to take a little nap on the starting line, so we are done for the weekend. We are going to watch the next round and maybe the first round of the Allstars, so more later.

The audiocast works for me. The past few races have been a lot better with getting on the website. I use google's chrome browser.

Well I have come in from the pool, so I will post a little more. Larry cooked fresh corn, squash, and zuchini out the garden for dinner. It is now going on 8 pm and it is 92 degrees with a heat index of 112, so I won't be going out any more tonight.
