Chad, mine has been great. Changed oil yesterday and saw tail housing seal starting to seep a little. No issues, other than fuel sending unit went out. Easy fix though.

The 35 Ford 3W, is a bone stock original, sold new in Calgary. I've owned it since 1991.
When I get this drag racing out of my system, I'll be rodding a flathead for it, otherwise restoring the car. It WILL be a driver.

I had one of those about 20 years ago, with the 350 Olds gas engine. Good driver, got good mileage on the road. We left on vacation one year, got past Sacramento before I bought 22 gallons of gas to fill it, got to Grants Pass,Oregon the next day and still had at least a quarter tank. That drive isn't exactly flat. We used that car up, then I gave it to Tony Janes. He still has the 350 and the TH400. Didn't know they came with a 403.

Sweet car!
Mine is a 2003 Honda Civic Coupe, low mileage (for a Honda-only 135,000 miles), complete with dents.

My next car will probably be one of the new small Fords-my knees hurt on occasion and those new six speed automatics get even better gas mileage than the sticks-easy on the wallet and easy on the knees!

Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Horrible gas mileage. To the tune of when I get a few more things sorted out I will definitely be driving my stocker on the street on the regular. Street Legal Stockers for the win!

Yeah, mine on the highway will get around 18-19mpg. Only runs 19`s up here on the mountain though, but awfully consistant! If it wasn`t for all the rust,I`d do something more with it. Would run around L/SA with the 403 and P/SA with a 350.

Wife drives a 06 freestar 4.2L 25mpg or so and about 160,000 on it so far. I've changed the brakelight switch....original brakes even!

I drive the junk, 93 F-350 4 door with 8ft box. 7.3diesel with 656,000km's and counting on the original engine. Second tranny and it's not shifting right! LOL!
Oh, 25mpg at 120km's and about 28-30mpg when on back roads at 80kmph!
Empty or loaded doesn't really change the milage, only rpm.
Looks like absolute crap...but I love it.

Re: What's your daily driver now.

My daily driver 2002 Nissan Frontier, 4cyl-5speed with over 250,000 on the clock. Done nothing but routine oil and filter changes and brake pads, still has original plugs & wires. 22-24 MPG.

Wife's driver is a 1999 GMC Suburban. 350 with 190,000 miles. I just bought this last Nov. for $3200. Nicely maintained with all new A/C components recently installed. It gets 16-18 MPG and can haul us and our 4 kids that are still home + 2 grandkids.

A project I'll get around to one day hopefully is a 1983 Malibu wagon 305 with unknown miles. I bought this car from Danny Waters, Sr. probably 4 years ago and one day I hope to do some type of partial restoration on it and have a street driver and occational bracket race car for when the mood strikes me. It is drivable and my oldest step daughter used it recently for about a month while her vehichle was being repaired.

My race car is towed with a 1988 UltraStar motorhome 454/Turbo 400. At 65,000 it has the fewest miles of everything I own. Gets 7 MPG towing the car on a open trailer.

Hey Dan Moore, you're #1. :D

My 2010 Corvette w/auto gets 29.8 MPG on a trip at a steady 75 to 80 MPH. Usually around 26 MPG running around. Beats driving a small jap car any day ! The Harley gets 50 MPG but you get wet when it rains. The Dodge Hemi truck gets (UGH) around 19 usually.

Re: What's your daily driver now.

My daily driver is my 1997 Chevy Express van. It currently has 411,000 miles on the body. Last year at 367,000 miles its original 350 Vortec laid down on me. (You just cannot get anything to last these days.) It was running great but the plastic intake gasket blew at the water passage and dumped antifreeze internally into the engine making a chocolate milkshake out of the oil. Instead of rebuilding it I opted to buy a brand new 350 Vortec in a crate at the Chevy dealer for $2300 and installed it myself.

My other driver is a 1991 Lumina 4dr that my Mom bought new. I inherited it after she passed away in '04. It recently turned over 100K miles so it has a lot of life still left. It gets 26 MPG on the highway so I see no need to buy a new $20K car that gets the same mileage.

My wife drives our 1996 Formula Firdbird which we bought new. While it was still under warranty I played with it at the dragstrip running 8.73 1/8 mile and 13.80 1/4 mile.

My toy is a 1995 Corvette LT-1 automatic that I bought 3 years ago. It only has 53K miles on it. It has all the whistles and bells. I have pictures of it on my Facebook page.

My daily driver is Cheeves. For late night engagements we usualy have Sterling. For the weekend it is usually Roberto or Juan Carlos. When the kids want to go out then it is Elizabeth, she is so patient. For private affairs it is always Milt. (Bachelor Party)

And when I really want to go out and party, it is the Imperial Palace.
