Re: Woodburn
It?s 11:35am here and my weather reads?
79.8 deg, 46.8%, 29.73?, .48 VP, 70.91 GOW, 2249? DA, and a 3 mph tailwind. Alcohol at noon and Stock will follow. More later. |
Re: Woodburn
Stock Q2 is in the books.
At 1:23pm, I showed: 85 deg, 40.6%, 29.71?, .503 VP, 75.03 GOW (that?s a bunch for us left coasters!), 2672? DA, and a 3mph cross-tail. I?ll post the sheet and ladder when they?re out. We’re down 3 cars from yesterday’s race. Lost 4, but picked up Tommy Gaynor in his beautiful new ‘70 Camaro running B/SA. I’ll try to get a couple pics. It’s a really nice ride. I’ve said before I could drive a ‘70 split bumper and this car reinforces that! SS up soon. The track has held up really well this weekend, but my fearless prediction is we?ll see some spinning amongst the SS crowd. |

Re: Woodburn
SS Q2 is done. As expected, some had traction issues. Big tire and small tire cars, both. One car I expected to spin that didn?t was Winslow?s V10 Drag Pak.
Weather shows? 89.6 deg, 35.6%, 29.70?, .50 VP, 74.03 GOW, 2934? DA, and a 3-5 mph tail wind. Will post the ladder when I see it. |

Re: Woodburn
Good day at the races . Did not see many races. Spread lots of B.S. Will be at Leerkamps Sunday or out cruising on my scooter. Thanks every one for their concerns about my health.
Stan Hawes Institute of Technology Sit down and shut up , you might learn something. |

Re: Woodburn
Thanks for the coverage, Jared, curious what happened in the Super Stock semi between Jody Lang and Rick McKinney. DRC shows that both had "no time", but no explanation as to what the story was.

Re: Woodburn
Wish I could tell you but after going -.009 to Brad Burton in E2, I couldn't get out of there fast enough. We ended up taking the coastal route back home and enjoyed some scenery while Sundays race played out.
Congrats to Don Keen and Brad Burton for their wins in SS and Stock, respectively. I ended up losing to both event winners. If anyone's seen the movie Good Luck Chuck, I feel a little bit like the main character. LOL See everyone in Sonoma next weekend. Duty (work...boooooo) calls and I couldn't swing Seattle too. Good luck to everyone racing this weekend. |
