Re: Glen Hartzler
I enjoyed pitting near Glen. Like most of us his passion did not wane as the years passed. Last year John Warehime and I helped him with an intake leak. He missed that event but was ready to go for the next! Sorry to see you go Glen! Condolences to the Hartzler family. Ray

Re: Glen Hartzler
Like others said, Glen was a great guy who was always ready to help anyone in need. I had the pleasure of pitting next to Glen at countless Nat and Div races as he always saved me a spot next to his whenever possible since he was usually there before me, it was his idea, I never asked him to. RIP my good friend, 74 is way too young to go.

Re: Glen Hartzler
I met Glen in the mid 90's when I raced with Mike Smith. A few years ago, I ran into him at a test n tune at Atco. We started chatting, and it turned into an entire day. Pitted next to him, and we talked Stockers and discussed his car as if we hadn't missed a beat. (He wasn't too interested in my street/strip car, lol.)
RIP Glen. My condolences to his family and friends. |
Re: Glen Hartzler
A sad time indeed.
Glen was a long time good friend and dedicated Mopar racer. Rest in peace! Bill Rolik |
