I also scored 150 pounds of lead shot yesterday. My guy will be making weight bars Friday to put the car in FS/G.

Now, if Robin could just get some test runs in, maybe we will see a break in the constant flow of tears.....

Well it will be a battle of the handicapped for sure. I am dealing with lack of runs anxiety . I agreed to the new combination but haven't been able to make any runs.

I think that if you stay with that 360 combination you would be north of 3400 pounds at the 9.00 per HP in G.

Even with you switching to the PI 350 combo you will be somewhat un tested as I am.
I should be able to get a few runs at Indy this weekend if the weather cooperates. Then home for a few days to make the changes the data dictates.

Should be fun.

Little update,

As you know this Saturday at St Louis (Madison) NMCA heads up with Daren in his 302 CI 350 Horse COPO.

I heard Daren had transmission issue at Charlotte and has to deal with that as well. I am offering an old Turbo 400 that slips in high gear if he can't dig up a transmission.

I made a lap at Cordova on Saturday and got some good data. Completed 2 items at the track and have another 3 or 4 before on my to do list before I load up for this weekend.

I really hate to talk too much smack because I know it can come back and bite me in the ***. Still hopefully I can put Daren on the trailer.

Loser buys steak dinner.

As Larry said I made it in and through Tech yesterday. I see that Daren has posted that he is starting to work on the car this morning. I know he hurt a trans at Charlotte and needed to change rear gear as well as making the change to the 2023 Port Injected 350 Combo from the 2018 (I think) 360 Horsepower combination which is Direct Injection.

I know he had to get some weight to make the 3320 Minimum in FS/G with the 350 combo.

I fessed up about my run on Saturday as his runs earlier this year have been visible.
Had weather station COM Port issue but an hour after our run we were at a 103 correction and a DA of 1300 feet. The baro was low but it was cold and dry.

I ran a 9.85 @ 137.93 on the only pass. After looking at the data we figured I needed to revert back to my previous first gear ratio and a higher launch RPM.

I did scale the car while in tech and I am a safe 20 pounds over minimum.

Test pass this morning and maybe a clutch adjustment. We shall see.

Thanks to everyone for following along on our fun!

So far, the weight is in, the rear is apart, and the transmission is out.....
