The generator seemed to be working fine and for some unknown reason the generator would just shut off. I was then able to restart it and everything would work fine for a while. Five minutes later the same thing, only thing when the generator would start, there would have no electricity to charge the batteries of anything else. I would turn the circuit breakers on the generator and everything seemed ok with the two breakers. This went on for quite some time. Does anyone had issues like this? Thanks and help will be appreciated.

We just open side door and run a fan on it.

What Rich said. I always put a fan to blow the hot exhaust away from the air intake, even in cooler weather.

is it as simple to just run a flexable tube down to the onan intake pipe and run it up to better air on front or side of onan gen to get better air than the super heated air under gen set. there is a Ibeam seperating intake and exhaust , but it is extremly hot under the trailer
