Do you know what FWD class had the most participants in it in 2021 according to Nitro Joe's? It was CF/S, the 17.5 lb. class with 6 (yes, only 6 but still the most).
Do you know what FWD class NHRA decided to do away with to create a 22 lb. class? Why the 17.5 lb. class, of course! Now why couldn't they have just added the 22 lb. class?
Any logical answers?

for the same reason the "AA" class is not 7.0# and we should have a "BB" class at 7.5# but what the heck do i know i haven't been doing this long enough.

I wonder what happened to Charles Blossom from Minnesota. I always enjoyed seeing him race the cars that no one else considered. The last two I remember were a GMC Syclone and then a PT Cruiser convertible.

Dan,
Charles passed away a few years ago. We pitted next to him one year at Great Bend, Ks. He was a good guy.

Thanks for the reply. Hitting the like button didn't seem to be appropriate. Sad news. I never met the man but always enjoyed him doing his own thing and often doing very well.
