The starting line had issues with some Stockers and a good amount of Super Stockers. It looks like it has come around, but who knows... I let you know on my next run. I did move around a little at the other end, but it might have just been the wind. The is no live timing at this race.

Thank you for what you do and while you're racing no less!

Please explain how "Live Timing' works and why it's not available for this event.

No surprise about the starting line at the Rock and it's a shame for the racers and also for such a historic track, hopefully management will resolve this issue sooner than later.

Frank, thanks for the kind words. As for the living timing, I was told no living timing, but no reason. I could not tell you how live timing works, but we have a good internet signal here. I'm guessing Rockingham is not set up for it.

The track is not great, I don't like to come down on tracks, but talking to the racers that come here a lot... well I can not repeat what they said, but its not good. I just came back from my run and it was good, I was in the right lane. My car got a little loose at the other end but its manageable. The left lane was not good for many Stockers, cars that never spin were making a hard right when they left the line. Low powered, high powered made no difference.

Also there is no one at the back of the lanes, Q1 was a cluster F***. I guess they are short staffed as there is still no one directing us as we come into the lanes. I'm done for the day, I think there will still be a 3rd shot, but there has been a lot of down time trying to fix the track issues.

I don't feel good about tomorrow for first round if they don't get a handle on the track. I hate to say this, but I'm not sure I will be back to this tack next season.

Too bad if they don't make the track hookable you all can't say "no thanks" and not race.

After your report, and that is what I expected about track prep, it makes me happy that we are home and watching UK basketball. If the team stands this year we will watch. Not sorry I got off track about standing for National Anthem!
