Re: Division 4 Why
I contacted D4 and they said it was on No Problem to send the checks. So I called No Problem and left a message. They contacted me back and said the checks were on the way. This was earlier this week.

"...just recieved a credit card bill 3 weeks after posting date."
We just got a bill from my Amazon store card. We were charged a $27 late fee, because they said our previous payment had been late. TJ looked it up. She mailed it in plenty of time to have gotten there on time, back when the mail was still normal. Maybe now, SLOW is the NEW normal. Also, that late fee was more than the price of the items bought. Ain't that just great. :( Maybe CC companies are now hoping that all payments will be late, so that they can collect LOTS of late fees. Anyhow, those low & late Stock/SS payouts probably make bracket racing look better to lots of racers. Also probably makes races like the recent SSS race look real good, to those class racers who won't consider bracket racing under any circumstances. |
Re: Division 4 Why
I can tell you for a fact that the tracks have been called. I had to call numerous times to NP (the National Open) before I received mine. At the same time I called San Antonio last year about that payout from that race and was informed that everyone would be paid by Christmas. Guess I should have asked which Christmas. Since then, I personally haven’t been able to get anyone on the phone. All that aside, I do think that the division director &/or NHRA should be responsible for enforcing the tracks to meet their payouts. They collect their money from them ahead of time. They could collect payouts also or tracks should pay before you leave the track. I have no problem with cash, check, or PayPal.
