Good, nothing wrong with modified OEM stuff for most cars IMO. Would just be another $$

Nothing wrong? It depends on the car model. Many cars have a tin sheet metal stamped cross member that will not sustain a lot of wheel stands. Yes, you can reinforce it and keep adding weight to the car.

How about other cars running a rack & pinion in lieu of a 30 year old plus steering box or running a more efficient boxed oil pan for making more power?
