The track surface itself is really nice and smooth, the rest of the place let's just say Fred Sanford would be proud.

The sun is peeking out and the wind has picked up a little so drying is coming along very well. Cars are starting to wake up and some are warming up now so hopefully we won't be too much longer.

Concrete seats need a lot of upkeep if they are going to last 50+ years open to the weather. I think The Rock has been refinished at one point, but they look a little worn.

At least I never got hurt there, unlike the old Dunn-Benson, where I put my leg through a broken board in the stands once.

There still has been no announcement as of yet but I can't imagine it will be much longer.

They just called Super Street and it's been announced that everyone will get 2 hits even if they have to give one tomorrow morning.

Currently no live timing from the Rock?? I hope when NHRA gets back on their feet they can hire a live timing czar whose sole function will be to flip the switch to the on position for live timing at the beginning of each race.
