So if you win the flip giving you lane choice, you tell me you want the right lane and then as we're driving to the water you decide you want the left lane and that's ok?

I say that's not ok. That's a prick shot.

What happened was exactly what that person wanted to happen. I know a guy who has done this in the past and he laughs about it. He does it to get in your head and unfortunately for you that is exactly what happened. Next time just giggle to yourself and if you really wanted that lane then tell the guy running the lanes. I've seen the same kind of crap pulled during the coin flip. Or my personal pet peeve "Do you have a lane preference?" I might but I'm sure as heck not telling you. Let's just flip the coin and see what happens.

Ya know on this subject, the weirdest thing that I've ever run into was when my opponent asks me if I have a lane choice and I pretty much always say, "no take whichever lane you want" and then get told that we've got to flip anyway!?!
Once my opponent was so adamant that we flip that I agreed and won the flip and told him that I wanted HIM to pick the lane. He actually went to a NHRA Tech and complained. When I explained the story to the Tech, he asked "who won the flip" and when I told him that I did he turned to my opponent and told him to "pick your lane".
Probably one of the top 10 dumbest things to ever happen to me at a race.
