The way I see it, the NHRA has shown the former IHRA specific classes about as much love as they intend to share. Future growth, if indeed the Stock/SS category is perceived to be one with enduring popularity, will be found in the late model entries and corresponding updates to the list of eligible combinations in the Guide. :cool:

Thank you all; including Too Tall! We ran a stock car for 3 seasons before returning to stock eliminator. We got spoiled running a crate engine; if it was not for the crate class, there probably would not be any stock car racing in Ontario. They are cheap to buy, bullet proof (at 6200 rpm limit) & last forever. Built engines are getting rare. Now mind you, ours are sealed. Thank God for CanAm! I was at the first one at St. Thomas in 1991; it was a blast!
