Anybody having doubts about the track should check out the times in my reports on Drag Race Central. This is my first trip here and I don't see much wrong.

The staff here are really friendly and have obviously put a lot of work into the track. Whatever was in the past is in the past, but they sure seem determined to continually improve the track.

The fact that the IHRA sent staff here probably has made a difference. They showed Tim a few tips about track prep, and he went more than halfway by buying a rubber drag to groom the surface.

Yes, there's a concession stand here. You know what? They had free donuts this morning to anyone who wanted them. Sounds like a good place to me.

Thanks for the report dan sounds like they have really fixed up the old airport runway dragstrip pretty darn good but how come there's only 17 cars in S/s?

I don't know why more cars aren't here other than some people may have been scared off. If that's the case, it's a shame because we've seen some good racing here today. Good air and a good track tends to do that.

The only downside we had was a fairly lengthy clean up on almost the entire right lane. A Super Stock car stood on its bumper, and destroyed its oilpan when it came back down.

The way our deal works is that we don't two the pair-by-pair reporting until a class is down to 16 cars or less. I don't have a data feed here, but the track personnel and the IHRA staff couldn't be any better about getting the printouts to me. I'll do my best to get out the best stuff possible today.

When I don't have to run around chasing the run sheets, the info comes a lot faster. That time can be spent posting reports so it's a big help when I'm working with people who understand how many people are waiting for the reports.

It's a beautiful fall-like morning in the low 50's with bright sunshine. It's going to be another great day of racing.
