James they are great people. Chris and my oldest son used to race 10th scale RC cars together back in the day.

I agree. I try to catch Jim and his wife when they come up to Ennis. Jim used to bring the Corvette up in a pickup and a camper and was team mates with Tommy Costales back in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Chris is a great driver and has won several races. I don't talk to him much though.

Thank you James!
I love that Barracuda and the 383/343 combination for GT/CA.

Gary, I quit racing in 1974 and had not attended a race since the first year the Motorplex opened. I lived and grew up in Shreveport and moved to Tennessee in 1989. I went to the SportsNationals in 2016 and got to see Greg Stanfield. His dad and I used to keep our cars in the same shop when they moved to Louisiana....Carroll used to do my machine work so. I talked to him about a year ago and was surprised to hear he is still working. I saw and talked to Jim Hale at the SportsNationals this year. I raced him a couple of times when there was a Div 4 Super Stock Circuit....... Good Luck !
