Stick cars winners! Kyle Jeltema won Saturday in his E/S 71 Mustang. Sunday – the last 3 cars were Sticks – Ben Wenzel E/S – Brad Zaskowski GT Stick SS – Charlie Downing F/SSE with Ben winning over Charlie.

The track prep at Mid-Michigan Motorplex was first class all weekend. All the racers – stick and Automatic hooked consistently. The number of dead on and .01-over runs were impressive. In the semis on Sunday, both Ben Wenzel and Brad Zaskowski ran dead on.

Bill and Brad Zaskowski had a mad thrash on Bills’ SS Nova on Saturday after Q1 when they replaced the sliders in about 1 hour and made Q2.

To quote Brad Zaskowski, “…lots of really great races that were as good as any National or Divisional race!”

Mid week weather reports posted to CR turned out to be “Fake News” as both Saturday and Sunday turned out to be beautiful sunny summer days.

I need to get up there, these events sound great. My dad lives in Michigan and it would be awesome to take him to a race.
