I think its been pretty clearly established there most certainly is tech. Take a look at the posts about the recent FS supercharger inspections, for instance. |

And will only supercharged cars go to tear down if there is a tear down? |
Re: No Tech At US Nationals?
Indy will as always be a special animal. My guess is a unique or uncommon Tech check will happen that has not occurred in a while. All racers should be on your toes.

Re: No Tech At US Nationals?
If any one thinks there is no tech or teardown at Indy...Please go with your bogus stuff and try to win class...
It will make for some great banter here. Bill |
Re: No Tech At US Nationals?
Winning class will get you a Wally and maybe a place in the barn....if there is any teardown. All it takes is one qualifying run with bogus parts to assure a spot in the 128 car field.

Yeah.......
No tech / Fake tech Free entry and unlimited crew passes Coffee and donuts provided Petting Zoo Face Painting Helium for the adults There is a difference between "No Tech" and "Self Tech". When you sign your tech card you are certifying that everything you filled in is correct / accurate. If and when they find it different from what you have written down, they will bust your ***. Plain and simple. The liability falls on the shoulders of the person certifying the card - not the tech official. |
