Re: CDRHF/John Scotti Stock/Super Stock Shootout Returns in
When we went last year I received 1 NHRA grade point for a IHRA Crate Motor entry BUT with my NHRA car # which is the same as my IHRA #.
It was a very well run race last year and you could of have worn you car out with the free time trials on Friday. John Scotti and his crew are a class act who know how to take care of the racers. AND they paid out MORE than the posted payout. |
Re: CDRHF/John Scotti Stock/Super Stock Shootout Returns in
so even though they allow IHRA cars to run, you have to be an NHRA member? Do you have to pay to get an NHRA number or can you just get a basic NHRA membership?

As a spectator I have this date in my calendar to attend again this year. It was a great event last year. Thought I would include a few pictures - hopefully I get this right

In the last pic, Merryfield and Moorehead, the Gent in the blue shirt is John Scottie. He has a passion for S/SS cars and he puts this whole thing together. Last year, 92 entries each day and his goal is to put on the best race he can and to promote the Cdn. Drag Race Hall of Fame.

Re: CDRHF/John Scotti Stock/Super Stock Shootout Returns in
For those who have asked, you can expect an official announcement from the host of the event, Toronto Motorsports Park, with full event details for all classes competing, in the coming weeks.
In the meantime though, we can confirm the following details which are the same as last years event. Those Stock and Super Stock racers typically not permitted to compete in NHRA events, based on classification (i.e. Crate Motor Stockers, Stock GT, Pure Stock, Super Stock Production), will be permitted to compete at this event provided they pass all NHRA Safety/licensing rules. Racers wanting to compete at this event can purchase NHRA license and chassis at the event. |
Re: CDRHF/John Scotti Stock/Super Stock Shootout Returns in
Good news from the folks at the CDRHF...over 90 entries to date. US racers, with your dollar worth 40% more than the Beaver Buck, everything outside the entry fee is ridiculously affordable. Such a deal!!!
