Jimmy ended up setting the FS/C record at 8.94. More Super Stock cars in the barn after 4. Some of the SS record setters were Ernie Neal, David Neal, Myron Ramey and the Schaechter brothers.

George, were you specifically there to see the Fords or was it actually just 1 chev and 3 fords in the tear down barn for stock? (and chevs outnumber fords 20:1??)

It had to do with the cars the were successful at setting a record.

Lots of Chebbies but the Fords are going fast. Paquet should have a zipper on his motor.

Actually, I am a little surprised that Pacquet wasn't faster. He set the SS/A record at 8.55 on 10/19/13 at Indy; on 9/28/15 the NHRA reset it to a 9.15 minimum.

I'm shocked the Arnett's 8.32 in FS/A didn't even get a mention. Congrats to them on improving on the fastest stocker time
