It's wet and the radar is very green, not good. Saw a D1 A/SA, wonder if its Miss Smyth trying to add to her point total? Helms and the rest of the hitters are here searching for those elusive points.


Its raining so hard now that the WiFi is affected.


Chef Jim did a feast of tube steaks that could not be beat. The Ladies whipped up slaw, (its the same thing as cold slaw up North just easer to spell), a cold pasta dish, fresh course chopped onions, a Wal-Mart vegetable tray, and thinly sliced, fried, and salted spuds in a bag. Just living the dream.

I rolled in late last night and I'm afraid it's my fault. The rain followed me all the way from the coast to the mountains, it made for some miserable driving at times. It is still raining at the moment and the radar looks dismal for any clearing any time soon.

Have not heard anything Chip but at this point I wouldn't be scared to say this will probably be a Saturday-Sunday race. Radar doesn't show any clearing very close and cool temps with overcast skies will make drying very slow.

So go enjoy the rest of your wet day. SATURDAY MORNING 9am with your first hit. Everyone will get two tomorrow then first round. We'll go as far a we can and hopefully can complete the event tomorrow as planned".

Still raining! We haven't heard any announcements yet! Probably like Cooter said this will be a weekend race. Forecast looks better for Saturday and Sunday!

I know it does you folks absolutely no good whatsoever, but us folks here in Texas would truly love to swap weather. Its at least as dry and drought-stricken as it was in 2011 when everything was on fire. Only this time we've managed to escape the fires, but still no appreciable chance for rain in the forecast.

It was a slow news day, not a lot to report with showers most of the day. It did break here about 3 and some people got out and moving around a little.
I saw Mr Larry was doing a little work on his car and Jim Marshall was getting his golf cart turned up a little after Sterling blowed his doors off, if anyone can protect the hp rating on that cart I know Jim can. Also Mickey Whaley was at the Longhany compound getting a tune up on his cart.

We had a great dinner tonight then it started raining so we all ended up under the Marshalls awning!
