Re: Fuel change from VP to Sunoco
Don't sweat it 4543...Drain all your fuel from the cell. Open the cap to allow the foam to air dry as long as possible, put a small amount of new fuel in (1/2 gallon)....undo the fuel line at the carb and run the small amount into a fuel jug and discard. You have successfully Douched your fuel system..LOL !!"."........M.J.

Re: Fuel change from VP to Sunoco
I was speaking to some of the tech guys at Pomona, and they said that they are going to be very lenient with fuel at least for the first few races. The sportsman classes are still allowed to run VP, we just won't be able to buy fuel at events.

Re: Fuel change from VP to Sunoco
The Sportsman classes can run a number of race fuel brands including Renegade. All of the fuel info is available on the NHRA web site under accepted products list.

Re: Fuel change from VP to Sunoco
I don`t understand why people aren`t doing what some of have had to do when Sunoco became unavailable at Nat`l events a long while ago, bring extra to the track from home instead of changing brands? I`ve heard different brands are a different tune up.
