Re: 77 Nova 6 with stick
What brand of converter is about like what oil... what ever the person is running is the best in their eyes! :) I have a couple of ATI's and have been happy with their service. You do see a lot of stockers with ATI stickers.
There are several other good ones out there, including some of the people responding on here. Good luck Ken Stock 412 |

Re: 77 Nova 6 with stick
I here diffrent opinions about the 305 in the 77 nova . Some say it's not worth worth the trouble . The 6 cyl that came in it has that ****ty intrigal cyl head and is useless . I think the 350 has been done to death 1000 times over and over . may be a diffrent combo ? All togeather .

Re: 77 Nova 6 with stick
Vinnie , If a decent Malibu wagon can go .9 under in Q, R ,and T, then a budget Nova with the same exact drive train @ the same exact weight should run a nickel under without too much trouble.
I would tell your friends with the opinions to come on here and make a few clicks of the mouse. All that info is just a few clicks away at DRC. How'd I do , Dwight, Billy? |

Mark
I spoke to Vinnie the other day and he said he was looking for a combo to set a record with, what I told him was that with the Mustang's, Cadillac's and Chevy pickup's in the same classes the 305 2v was not a good combo to set records. Hope that clears things up a little. Mario |

Better chance of setting a record would be with a lower class stick car, or FWD. MY opinion! |
Re: 77 Nova 6 with stick
Just thinking..with those parameters..Keep looking for a 302 2v car.
