This race also used to run Class eliminations and pay contingency. I'm sure the "manufacturers" that wanted the change to the system around class contingencies are benefitting from the exposure there products get and product sales with fewer racers going to events like this one.

IMHO - I think it is a lot simpler than that

I went once - it was 90 degrees and the density altitude was over 10,000 feet

Who wants to run a second slower?

It turned out to be a dual purpose trip - the first and last time - all at once

I don't care how they would treat me - I won't go back

Ron, you left out the part that it is an almost 1400 miles one way tow for you
to get here.

this race is running class in both stock and ss i believe.....

Complain as much as you want about the racetrack and the event,most likely 5 rounds to win a Nat`l Event looks pretty good to me.
