I am shocked and stunned, as somebody else said. I had just bought some Super Stock parts off Alan and Ron, a few weeks ago. Alan seemed like a nice guy, and I looked forward to calling for advice on the set up.

I am totally at a loss for words, Rod Greene just called and told me. I had communicated with Alan just two weeks ago regarding the Olds issue. Ron, you have lost a true and dear friend.

I am very shocked and saddened to hear this news. I always enjoyed reading Alans writings here and was hoping he would get a new car after that terrible fire.

God speed Alan. I never met him but we talked several times on the phone and emails about my truck I have for sale. We had just talked last week. May God Bless his family. Sincerely Ron and Lauree Johnson
