Loved his "Giant Killer" article in the Jan '94 issue of SS&DI and the article on racing a rental "rentals in the real world" in the Aug 2000 issue of Drag Racing USA which was a spin off of Bracket Racing USA. (which was my all time favorite mag, even more than SS&DI)

(Removed the hub caps and air filter housing, advanced the timing and rigged the electric fan to operate manually).

The whole deal was still a lot of fun, and as a bonus, later that year SS&DI did an article on dime-rockets in Stock and ran a picture of the car.
