Re: Under Factored Cars Complaints
Now we have to deal with three Bogus combinations and it just shows how corrupt the nhra has become. They dump all these cars on Stock without one word. Actually what can the nhra guys say? They are cheating the guys who have helped support them for 40+ years and all they can do is take the money, duck the incoming negative comments and hope that no one of any importance in the automotive world calls them out for their actions.
But now that Chevrolet has jumped into this mess, it looks like odd man out. That is Mopar (even with a three speed auto) will be the odd man out. Ford's and Chev's are now entered in many of the same classes as the Mopar cars. And it doesn't look good for them. Let's see how quickly the self assured grins disappear. Is this what you wanted BO? If so, I'm pleased to oblige |
Re: Under Factored Cars Complaints
You won'thear the bitching because of the reason blue oval ralph gave;
[QUOTE=BlueOval Ralph;340288]Cause it's a Cheby![/QUOTE If cheby was first then there would of been no bitching in the first place. "found on road dead" is what sticks in the craw of so many cheby fan boys. Nobody crying here, bring them on, just acknowledge the blatent hypocracy when it displays itself without trying to justify it. "we only had 3 runs and your crying already?" Yeah whatever, no crying, just pointing out the obvious. Let's see what those "obama motors" can do. |
Re: Under Factored Cars Complaints
If Chevy had a bogus combination that ran my class, I would complain about them just as much as I do the Fords and Chryslers. They are definitely underfactored, the N/A 427 is rated the same as the old one! The good thing about the COPOs is that the supercharged motor is already in it's own class, and the N/A motor is only 1 hit away from being out of A (will happen by the end of the year for sure) so it will affect a lot fewer racers.
For what it's worth, I would rather have a new Mustang than a new Camaro, I'm not biased towards the COPOs. |
Re: Under Factored Cars Complaints
LMAO , I love it . Paul as soon as you blow that slopo up their will be a new lake in Buffalo from your tears . Now that the Slopo is out and running we can turn these superstock CJ loose. And really 8.88 is only as fast as Butner , Skillman Fezzels and Holbrooks 2.3L blower stockers
Bruce thank you thats the sprit !!!!!! Bring it to Cecil County this weekend . Lets see how it runs in NHRA trim for class claimed . Im sure the ATI car will be there |

On the other hand yea sure yea that's all it's got yes that's it That's it you guys don't have anything to fear you are the fast guys we are just great lookin slopos. Yea that's it what idiots we are thinking we might run with you big dogs why we are just stocker superstockers. Yes that's it and we are greatful you pointed that out for us you have saved us from so much work and disappointment . I seem to remember saying real clearly that there would be much moaning and wailing when things turned around. Well, ain't it a shame. I warned you all about what would happen when the factories could put anything they wanted in Stock, when they did not even have to build a car to get it put in the guide. Oh well. Suck it up buttercup. |

Re: Under Factored Cars Complaints
Ya know, probably the most ironic thing about this thread is that the numbers 1,2 and 3 qualifiers at Indy could very possibly be "farm trucks".

Re: Under Factored Cars Complaints
Just remember Ford did not take Your Tax dollars to do the SLOCO program with.
