Re: Adrl scs
I just read the article in Drag Racing Magazine about the SCS. I have to say, I like the concept. The article wasn't clear. Is the series based on relatively un-modified vehicles; like Stock Eliminator maybe?
I'd like to see some of the high end euro and asian cars jump in. There could be some surprises out there. I mean, what does a light-weight Porsche 911 with a turbo and drag slicks actually run in the 1/4 (without breaking transaxles)? What age cars are allowed to compete? And is this 1/4 mile or 1/8 mile racing only? If so...why? Hope it works well for you. Of course I'll probably never see a race way over here in Arizona. Why no ARDL in the west? Sorry for all the questions, obviously I didn't read the initial thread on the subject. |
Re: Adrl scs
Not a problem, Jeff! Here ya go:
1. The SCS rules are similar to Stock Eliminator with a few changes many of which are in place to permit the “exotics” to compete. The complete rules are available at http://www.adrl.us/wp-content/upload...-2012-v1.0.pdf. 2. The most concise answer is the ADRL is an eighth-mile association. It is what it is. 3. Give it time; discussions are being held to host an ADRL event in the west. The interest is definitely there. |

Hey Bret, have you or ADRL have any discussions with Chrysler race division about getting more cars to compete in the Super Car Series...

Constantly, Moose. We have another discussion planned this week with Dale.

Re: Adrl scs
Bret, get ADRL to meet with them and offer them some space for their Chrysler roadshow at your next meeting, tell them to bring out all their new toys for people to check out...maybe Chrysler & ADRL can offer some sort of prize money to convince other racers to participate in the series.
