Re: Team Mopar Records Unofficial Fastest Pass in Pro Stock
Allan Johnson has always been fast. Lots of fast runs this time of the year. Who's fastest now is often not the fastest at Pomona. And, geez, so many of you MOPAR guys are strange. Should be more about the racers, not the name on the valve covers. Not many actual MOPAR or GM parts on those cars anyway. Mostly aftermarket. They just kinda resemble a given brand. I hear Pontiac guys the same way. Very strange. Those things are just dumb iron.

Re: Team Mopar Records Unofficial Fastest Pass in Pro Stock
I like Allen Johnson, but last year during testing it was the same thing from him. BIG numbers but all of a sudden when Pomona came around he was a middle of the pack guy.

Stock/Superstock Forum?
Don't care about Pro Stock. |
Re: Team Mopar Records Unofficial Fastest Pass in Pro Stock
The 60 ft is important but the big telling numbers are 60 to 330 and 330 to 660 numbers!

Are you as interested in Pro Stock as you once where? As they have evolved into barely recognizable cars and also lost the active manufacturer's rivalry aspect of the class, I have lost interest. Restrict it to recognizable Camaros, Challengers and Mustangs and I'm in. |
