Doesn't look like any '55 Nomad I ever saw. I'm thinking its just a good looking 2 door wagon. Nomads had a different roofline(slanted pillar) and a larger rear wheelwell.

That '55 Chevy wagon would be the Bernstraugh (sp?) "Willys Junkyard Dog" out of Norfolk, NE. I believe Willy Jr (Bill) is driving, but the engine and drivetrain is all Bichlmeier built.

The 5578 permanent number was still available from NHRA.
