Re: Drag Pak and CJ cars
It seems the production cars have a little better starting line combo than this prototype I have. The one's I have seen stall above 6000, and shift @ 6500. Footbrake to 25 to 35. We got all kind of new stuff, but can't really say if any of it is worth anything yet. One thing as said at the beginning of this thread is these cars, DP's and the Catfish looking mustangs will throw you the wheel spin curve just when you think you got it figured out. On the dp's (and any other wide car) the rear tread is so wide, it's is actually hard go fit the car in the grove. The cars are substantially wider than my 69 Super Bee. I lost in Indy last year, final in the CIC race at No Problem, and final at Silver Dollar points race last year with wheel spin. And I ain't lookin for sympathy, just stating a couple of facts about the new cars.

NHRA should check to see if they are operating with full throttle, maybe they are not and it needs to be corrected so the racers that have them can get full power.

Hopefully after Indy with any luck and lack of brains you will all have an extra 100 plus pounds you can stick in the trunk. Maybe that will help you hook up better. Not that it will slow you guys down at all. To me it looks like even the blind squirrels can make one of these cars fly.
