Look for the Super Comp quota to be bumped up shortly....that's the only full field, only 252 total entries right now for ALL classes with 80 of those the 8.90 cars, maybe they will take the 'hint' and improve the pits. No offense to my .90 brothers and sisters but I don't think I could handle seeing 140 S/C dragsters run.

That Mopar party,,,,,,,yeah I remember that, hell everybody went regardless of what you drove. They would hand you a sheet to fill out telling what kind of a Mopar you had. One year I was driving an R/SA '61 DeSoto station wagon!

Pretty bad when there are more Pro Stockers entered than SuperStockers .................

Those parties were great! Always had a good time.

Fortunately my last time there was nearly a history maker (after that race I REALLY DON'T LIKE THE NORTH 40 ANYMORE!), but I thank you Lane (and Randy), for helping me get to the quarters! :) Just 2rnds away from one of the last times sportsman cars were showcased on "Inside Drag Racing" (while ESPN had the show). Ryan McClanahan and Scott Burton should be honored since they were two of the last Stock/Super Stock racers to get tv coverage like that on ESPN(full final round coverage).....shows how much NHRA truly appreciates us, huh? I'm rather amused with the light entry list (so far), however I'll hold my real thoughts until after the Monday cutoff....

STILL more P/S than SS, entries now @ 28 Stk & 16 SS, this ain't looking so good......
