Re: Rick Wolf passes away.
A true gentleman in every sense. He would always go out of his way to come and talk with me. His cars were always first class and fast. The world will be a lesser place without Rick. RIP my friend.

Re: Rick Wolf passes away.
Rick was one of my Super Stock hero's back in the day. I remember when I asked about the car name he told me that the Tempus Fugit was Latin for "Time Flys" which was significant because he was a jeweler/ watch repairman. I always thought that was so cool. God speed Rick. Jim

Re: Rick Wolf passes away.
Very sorry to hear this. Rick and I go back along way to the very first years of Beaver Springs Dragway. Beaver Bob even had us do some match racing. Will always have the memories of our races at The Beaver.

Re: Rick Wolf passes away.
Sorry to hear of his passing. I still remember him and his car. He certainly was a nice person.
I still use the term Tempus Fugit whenever some says "Time Flys".... RIP Rick Wolf. Zane Racing |
Re: Rick Wolf passes away.
I first met Rick (actually, if I'm not mistaken, his real first name is Clarence by the way) in the late 70s when I had my 70 Chevelle (gasp!) stocker. I was at the Turbo Action facility in Jacksonville on my way to the Gators and he was there. Super friendly guy right off the bat. We remained great friends at the track all these years and always called him my "Hero!" I always loved the "Tempus Fugit" Cuda and his warm welcome. That's certainly going to be something that I'll miss.
My prayers are with you my friend. Rest in Peace. Ken Kopecky 1454 E/SA |

Rick was a very hard working motivated racer, I always found the time to find him and chat a bit.

Re: Rick Wolf passes away.
A great guy and also friendly/accepting of new racers into the sport. I remember meeting him when I first started competing. He was always up beat, friendly, and enthusiastic.
He will be missed... Condolences to Rick's family. |
Re: Rick Wolf passes away.
My dad put a cage in the cuda he raced in the 70's, and over the years my dad did some trading parts for jewelry. Rick was a class act, he will be missed. If anyone has his address please forward it to me.
