I always stay in Plainfield - a nice area in my opinion. It's about a 15-20 min drive to the track. You'll find several of the chain motels in Plainfield....all seems pretty nice to me.

Next to a ton of restaurants & shopping. There's a clean Wal Mart down the street if needed.

4 miles from downtown and a quick easy 10 min hwy ride to the track

We ate at Skyline Chili, not real fancy, but you don't get chili mac in Beantown.
