Re: I haven't seen any comments about Kurt Busch
If Kurt gets in to the program will get the sport on the racing news for more than 2 minutes like normal.. That has to help....

Re: Kurt Busch
The way I see it, Kurt Busch delivered in grand style; creating a huge amount of publicity for drag racing over the last few weeks. I'm sure it'll be mentioned more during the coverage of this weekend's NASCAR race in Bristol too. Everything I heard him say about drag racing was very complimentary. Here's a recent interview:

Re: I haven't seen any comments about Kurt Busch
I think Kurt Busch did a great job driving and with the tv air time he got on ESPN was all positive for our sport of drag racing.

Re: I haven't seen any comments about Kurt Busch
I watched the races last weekend. Both John Force and Kurt Bush lost in the first round, however Bush had more air time than Force, both being first round loser's.

Re: I haven't seen any comments about Kurt Busch
All the local papers had big stories on Busch getting beat in the first round of Pro stock at the NHRA Gatornationals this last weekend, but no info on the winners,or anything else about the race!!!!

The show highlight was when they questioned why Carl Edwards was not penalized after his team allowed a tire to roll away from his pit area during a stop in the race he won. Seems questionable rulings are everywhere. |

Re: I haven't seen any comments about Kurt Busch
Wife passed me the paper the other day. "oh look, there is something about dragracing here".
The more I read, the madder I got. -Note to the stick and ball $%^&holes at reuters- 1) The cars are in a "PIT " not a "paddock" 2) Kurt "QUALIFIED" 23rd, not "was seeded in the 23rd spot" The whole thing was very poorly written and was off the mark on every nuance of the sport. Obviously the clown didn't even watch stockcar racing or any other form of motorsports either. Not sure if I agree with "any news is better than no news". This certainly didn't help dragracing in anyway, maybe showed a professional driver from the vaunted nascar can't step in and show lowly dragracers how to drive. And I echo the sentiment, this is a sportsman forum, Kurt who? |
